Thank you for adding to it Robert. That certainly is the direction of research and surely the skill set to test these has to be developed. It depends thought how much main stream this becomes and how quickly.

The opportunity with automation and then AI is going to be to free up human testers to test the things the machines can’t, such as the way end users interact with the product; let alone the whole question of whether AIs can take “ethical” decisions and how ethics are going to be written into system design and code. In my view, it’s a whole new area and some of the issues will require brand new skills sets.
